For Her Dark Skin
Percival Everett
For Her Dark Skin is a tightly crafted exploration of the story of Jason & Medea weaving both traditional & contemporary fictional & thematic elements into a sharply ironic tale of revenge, ambition, passion & pride. Desires & consequences lead the all-too-human characters through a piercing new interpretation of classic themes.°°°
PERCIVAL EVERETT is the author of many novels, among them The Water Cure, Erasure, & Glyph. He is the author of the poetry collection Abstraktion und Einfühlung, the coauthor of A History of the African-American People (Proposed) by Strom Thurmond, as told to Percival Everett & James Kincaid (A Novel), & provided annotations for Akashic’s publication of The Jefferson Bible.
