S.S. Bazinet - Holiday Hiccups
S.S. BazinetA holiday disaster that ends in Christmas magic!
Gloria Bentley is a tough business woman who’s never been interested in anything domestic. However, she’s asked to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for her family. Even though she has no skills in the kitchen, she remains confident. How hard could it be to make a turkey, potatoes, gravy and some side dishes?
Gloria’s plans for a perfect meal quickly unravel when pots start bubbling over and a quart of gravy ends up on the floor. In the middle of it all, an unexpected guest named Stanley arrives early. The handsome stranger is a whiz at cooking and helps to rescue her dinner. Gloria is grateful, and she finds Stanley extremely attractive, but she refuses to let him become a romantic interest. Her life is already planned out, and Stanley Bickerman doesn’t fit her dating criteria.
As Christmas approaches, Gloria’s plans continue to go wrong. Her mom’s recent, painful divorce and Gloria’s hidden fears all come to the surface at the same time. When she panics, she calls on Stanley for advice. He helps her find answers to her life crisis, including how to relate to her mother and close the gap in their relationship.
As her friendship with Stanley blossoms and romantic feelings take hold, Gloria begins to wonder about Stanley’s place in her life. She knows how to navigate the business world. Can she trust herself to embrace the ways of the heart?
